  12. Well, I guess that a lot of stupid people like me always complain about this,
  13. just because they (we) do something wrong. I'm using the last release from the
  14. CTAN, on an HP 7*0.

  16. Anyhow, I've checked the makefile in the parent, dvipsk and kpathsea direc-
  17. tories; I've also checked kpathsea/paths.h; and of course I've checked my
  18. directory-structure, which is absolutely standard (/usr/local/lib/texmf/).
  19. All the same dvipsk takes really a lot of time to start, while TeX works
  20. fine.
